Chelynne Torringa is our main receptionist at Time Out Beauty Retreat. She has been working in customer service and retail for over 4 years. Chelynne is certified in CPR as well as specializing in customer service and Make up Artistry. Her favourite Kevin Murphy product is Powder Puff. Favourite TV series is Gossip Girl; favourite movie is Step Brothers and her favourite singer is Colbie Calait.
Kelly Wills is our part-time receptionist. She has been working in customer service for 10 years. She went to the BEDE College in the UK. Kelly moved from England in August of 2010 with her husband and daughter. She specializes in customer service and being a mom. Her favourite Kevin Murphy product is Body Builder. Favourite TV series is Grey’s Anatomy; favourite movie is Grease and favourite band is Kings of Leon.
Kristy Gowanlock is our main Esthetician at Time Out. She has been an esthetician for over 2 years. Kristy went to Marvel College for her esthetic training. She also has a Make up Artistry Certificate and has 10 years experience as being a mom. Her specialties include waxing eyebrows and brazilians as well as skin care. Her favourite products are Phytomer’s Peeling Vegetal and Kevin Murphy’s Powder puff. Kristy’s favourite show is Desperate Housewives; favourite movie is Dirty Dancing and any movie that has Matthew McConaughey and her favourite singer is Sarah McClachlan.
Samantha Pozdik is one of our licensed Hair Stylists. She has been a stylist for 7 years and took her training at HCC Hair Academy. Sam has attended to many cutting and coloring classes to mention and she has also done hair for photo shoots. She specializes in creating beautiful and natural looking colors and styles. She loves to see movement in the hair and also believes she can find a blonde shade that compliments just about everyone. Sam’s favourite Kevin Murphy product is Session Spray. Her favourite TV series is Tabitha’s Salon Take Over; she loves any movie with Russell Brand and her favourite band is Radiohead.
Jackie Toews is one of our licensed Hair Stylists. She has formally been a stylist for 3 years and took her training at Evelyne Charles Academy; however she was groomed by her mother who has also been a stylist since 1990. She also has been doing Make up Artistry since 1996 and has taken Revlon Color Correction classes. Jackie specializes in customized color and cuts. Her favourite Kevin Murphy products are Body Builder, Hydrate Me Wash and Rinse and Paul Mitchell Skinny Serum. Her favourite TV series are Cougar Town, Chuck, and So You Think You Can Dance; favourite movies are Encino Man, How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days and Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure and her favourite singers are Sarah McClachlan, Erinque Inglasias and U2.
Monika Deneke is one of our Registered Massage Therapists and has been an RMT since 2000. Monika was been trained in Germany, the US and Alberta. Her extra credentials include Visceral Manipulation, Somato Emotional Therapy, ONSEN Therapy, BET, TBM, Karuna Reiki Master and is also a Registered Nurse. She specializes in Therapeutic Massage Therapy and the Holistic Approach. Monika has a magical touch.
Carley Nedeljak is one of our registered Massage Therapists; she has been a therapist for 2 years and has taken her training at Grant MacEwan. Her favourite TV series is Glee and House Hunters; favourite movies are The Harry Potter Series, Anchorman and Ever After and her favourite bands are The Beatles and Tool. Carley is all about the little details.
Tina Kennedy is one of our licensed Hair Stylists. She has been a stylist for over 12 years and took her training at the Registered Apprentice Program. Tina is a Revlon Professional, color and cutting educator and platform artist across Canada for 6 years. She specializes in color corrections and hair extensions. Her favourite Kevin Murphy product is Powder Puff and Nutri Color Cream. Tina’s favourite TV series is 90210 and Don’t Forget the Lyrics; her favourite movie is Napoleon Dynamite and her favourite band is Bif Naked.
